Please sign up for weeks you know you can help care for the guinea pigs. They are extremely easy to care for.
Supplies: The guineas will travel with critter carrier, cage, litter, grass, pellets and vitamin C. Jeff will have back stock of grass and litter and can arrange easy
pick up, but these items can be purchased at pet stores too.
Care: You do not need to be home everyday of the week with the guineas. For example, if you take them for two weeks, and are away for the weekend in the
middle, that is okay. They can be provided enough food & water for several days. More days than that, and they will need someone to check on them.
Time Blocks: Ideally, each family takes the guineas for about two weeks at a time or more. You will need to coordinate pick up/delivery.
Jeff will be out of the state from June 28-July 5 – It will be extremely helpful to have that time period covered.
Please let us know how many bags of Carefresh litter - Grey Paper Pulp, large bag - you can bring in on the first day of school in each of the remaining school months. We need 2-3 bags, so if you can bring one, that's great, someone else can sign up below to add to the monthly supply.
